One key rename: the entry under from appears under to; metadata only (byte range, laziness, and quantization metadata are preserved). reverse_dims additionally relabels a DENSE ≥2-D entry's shape with its dims reversed, the row-contiguous-first export re-labeled to the C order a consumer's slots declare; a quantized payload's logical shape is already row-contiguous-first, so the flag passes it through unchanged. The relabel is this explicit flag, never implicit.
