# exp

[common]\
fun [exp](exp.md)(input: [Tensor](../Tensor/index.md)): [Tensor](../Tensor/index.md)

`exp(input: Tensor)`: the `exp` operator. Elementwise natural exponential. Value-domain violations follow IEEE semantics (NaN / ±inf in the result), never an error.
